"Hotel was fine…convenient for its location by having a mall attached, and a stop for airport coach right at the front entrance of property…however, I think hotel management should have the consideration to the customer’s emergency situation…I prepaid my booking in advance…this was not my only stay…at least, this was my 2nd time (in January) within 3 months…this time, my hometown was hit by a severe snow storm…airport was completely shut down for days…road conditions were not safe to drive at all for a week and more…schools were closed for the same…some people just work at home due to the factors of after storm conditions especially with ice rain…so I decided to cancel the trip after just stayed for 1 day instead of staying for the whole time that I prepaid for…otherwise I would be stuck in Japanese for a long time…checked with Expedia, I was told that I need to check directly with the hotel…so spoke with the property manager for refunding the unused days due to the unexpected circumstances instead of getting stranded here in Japanese with the unknown duration for the storm but was declined…I would think that Expedia should help on customers to communicate with the hotel, and the management of the hotel should give the consideration of these abnormal circumstances…especially it was on the news everywhere about the weather problems…being a loyal customer, I do feel that it was a very disservicing and disappointing experiences."
