It was a wonderful base and the shared facilities- bathrooms and kitchen, was perfect with little extras like snacks and hot drinks to help yourself to. "Very comfortable stay, large room with lovely view. Large bathroom with large bath. Highly convenient service area to make tea/coffee and breakfast. Very clean. Historic property with beautiful lounge area. Excellent parking in safe location. Highly convenient to travel to Liverpool and Birkenhead whilst staying in a rural location. "

The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. Great freshly cooked breakfast you didn’t leave hungry in a morning! Nice big lounge comfortable and in here as well as the TV was a kettle microwave cutlery condiments glasses fridge for customers use! Also another glass fronted fridge with assorted chilled drinks and an honesty box, so if you wanted you could buy a take away and warm it up and take to your room...
