Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting.

A short drive to the Numbi gate of Kruger National Park. Hotel accommodations were clean and comfortable and the Orange Restaurant on site has great food. Friendly staff.

Hidden pearl!

Unbelievably well priced for a 5 star. We stayed at the honey moon suite and had a private pool as well as private grill. The suite is a separate wood house, completely private, high seiling, large space, very luxurious. Top 5% of my life at a very decent price.

Relaxing stay at Tonquani Lodge

From our arrival to our departure,we were more than impressed by the friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism of every single staff member ensuring a relaxing ,private and comfortable stay. We stayed in the spacious honeymoon chalet,and the spa bath, heaters,fireplace and electric blanket were perfect for the chilly winter evenings. And no leaving the room on a cold winter morning for breakfast - the option of room service was welcome and well utilised! The breakfasts were delicious and well presented with a daily choice of fresh homebakes.The kettle braai also came in handy while we relaxed on the private deck surrounded by nature.The spa treatment was professional.

Gorgeous and romantic

Probably the most beautiful chalet I've seen, highly recommended for Honeymooners! Aside from the great room size, double bathtub and shower, we also loved the generous breakfast and cooked options. Great attention to details was everywhere, including having a hair conditioner and cotton pads which I appreciated. Location feels secluded, about 1 km up the main road, and a few minutes driving to knysna waterfront centre. Service was also amazing, everyone were nice and helpful beyond expectations. In short - thanks for a really great stay, please stay like this!

Tonquani Lodge & Spa war ein Aufenthalt wert!

Wer Entspannung im Grünen, in urwaldartiger Umgebung und bei Vogelgesang sucht, der liegt hier richtig. Dabei unterstützt sehr zuvorkommendes Personal die Behaglichkeit. Die kurze Distanz in die Stadt lässt sich mit sehr billigen Taxidiensten und lieben Drivern überwinden.

Clean , quite and Very Friendly

Staff were very welcoming and very accommodating. Lodges were lovely and location secluded and quite Didn't realise that payment would be required in local currency so subject to variation. Also 50% was due before arrival this too wasn't made clear on the Expedia site. Expedia quoted £ price could never have match Rand even thou the Rand rate was the most favourable in decade.

Lovely chalets in a beautiful garden

We had a lovely time at Tonquani - quirky little wooden chalets set in a beautiful garden. The staff were fantastic & the breakfast was very good. The location was quiet & peaceful but only a few minutes drive to Knysna Quays which was full of restaurants - a very busy & lively place.

Friendliest staff ever

The people at the reception desk, and the women at the spa were wonderful. We had the best massages in South Africa at this lodge. The breakfast was lovely, and the room gave us plenty of space to stretch out. It was a great home base for our visit to Knysa.

Overnight before flight

It was nice but overpriced for what it was, the spa is very good and staff friendly and helpfull but facility's not that great especially the breakfast room was was small and stuffy .

The best place to stay in Knsyna

I stayed with my family for 3 nights in Tonquani (Family Chalet). The chalet was absolutely comfortable, cozy and charming. I really liked the attention to details that was given to the decor which included African artifacts and Victorian style setting in the chalet. The location is fantastic. It takes less than 5 mins to reach the Knsyna Waterfront. Its located really close to the Friday Market as well. Brendon and his team are really helpful and are doing an absolutely fantastic job! Tonquani is truly a home away from home!
