"We had a great stay at Margi House. The room was beautifully furnished, and the outdoor jacuzzi was so lovely. The hill, which many mentioned, wasn’t too bad and was easily doable. The receptionist was super helpful and friendly - always with a smile on her face. Just a few things that could be improved: our coffee & water glasses weren’t cleaned until the last day. Since we didn’t have a kitchenette, this would have been nice. The main pool was lovely, but we did have to fish out a lot of bugs...

"Wardrobe had a light in which kept clicking all night keeping us awake. People outside the hotel used the pool and beach seats making it difficult to get a seat. We did not get to go around the pool. Food choice was very poor if you are a vegetarian. Had the poorest food ever in Skiathos around the pool bar - tasteless chicken and cod bites. "The hotel is situated on the side of a hill which offers great panoramic views across the bay. There are quite a number of steps if you are walking from the pool or bar and restaurant area so may not be suited with those with accessibility needs.

"The property is in a great location, less than 5 mins walk from the beach, surrounded by restaurants and right by a bus stop.
It had a terrace and garden, so it was nice to have outdoor space.
Our only issue was that the electricity kept tripping. The owner was very responsive and came the first time it happened, then we just flipped the trip switch back ourselves. You couldn’t run the aircon or hot water with anything else as it kept tripping.
Apart from this annoyance, I would recommend...

"Our AC didn’t work and the staff knew that and put is in the room. When we asked for help to turn on the AC we were told there’s an issue with the AC in our room and they can’t do anything about it that night. It would’ve been nice to be put in a room that had AC"
