"Detail: I don't normally leave reviews but if I can help someone out, I hope this is it. Make sure to CALL BEFORE you book online and confirm if there is water. It is a basic human need but yeah, no water in the area during our 3 days there. It ruined the weekend but the staff could not do much. Fault should be placed on the owners to make sufficient back up plans for their Paying staff.

"We booked the morning of our stay and when we arrived they couldn't find the booking. We were given a room while it was sorted out. The room was large and light with balcony and stunning views of the dam. A few touches like water in the fridge would have been nice. Breakfast was very disappointing. With a few tweaks The Shore House could be fabulous."

"Had an awesome time. The outlay of the premises along with the huge garden, courtyard and pool area is perfect for a getaway from the city. Quiet and peaceful with lovely birds and other wildlife in the area. My 3 kids throughly enjoyed themselves that they didn’t want to leave. Even the sleep you get there is different and peaceful. Wake up really refreshed "
