"The first 3 nights were fantastic, a great hotel, lovely staff, great breakfast. Sadly, someone thought it was OK to book a party/event in the rooms above us. Ridiculously loud dance music which was so loud the glass light fitting on our ceiling rattled with every bass drum! Didn't end until after 1.00am... "Brilliant stay at a lovely hotel with our toddler who found the hotel magical. The hotel is brilliant and while more expensive compared to other hotels, well worth it. The staff were great and amenities superb. If I had to give some constructive feedback it would be to review the eggs at breakfast - powdered eggs are just not pleasant and for the price I would expect proper eggs. Rest of breakfast was great though! "

"A beautiful old building in the heart of Gothenburg. The hotel was very comfortable, lovely breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Our room wasn't that big, and the shower was on the compact side, but for a two- night stay it was fine."

"Beware. I booked a king city view room only to be lumped in a King room which faced the dirty internal stairway with no light. The hotel staff were very rude saying that this is the room advertised - it was clearly not. The only other city view room they had was a small. We were moved into this room with no offer of a partial refund. Thankfully, after speaking with Expedia, they agreed it was false advertising and refunded our booking."
