"Good breakfast and our kids loved the private pool. Everything was great and the owners were friendly. We didn’t realise that the three rooms are actually seperate buildings all within the same enclosed private compound but that was fine and fun for kids. Only slight negative was that one of the rooms smelt damp and musty but the other 2 were fine so we just used those 2 as our youngest wanted to sleep on the couch in our room rather than by herself in the musty smelling room. This villa was advertised as being near downtown Ubud, but in reality, it was located far out in the countryside, nowhere close to the city. This false advertisement caused a lot of inconvenience, especially since there was no taxi service available for pickup or transportation. "Stay was during May-25 at the Akohara retreat in Ubud. On arrival greeted by staff with flower garland, drinks and local traditional dance. This is definitely a couples retreat. Our room was six levels down a mountain, some 405 steps down. We used the inclinator elevator to travel between our room and main pool and restaurant.
