"I would highly recommend this hotel for families who want to be a quieter neighborhood but within very close proximity and walking distance to the action of the Gion district. We normally stay at 4-5 star hotels, but seeing how most hotel rooms in Japan have a max of 3 people per room, I decided to try something different and booked an Executive Apartment which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 teenagers). "From check in, spacious room (triple beds), washing machine in side the room, balcony, additional tatami space, locked up storage (before checkin till 17.00) to checkout via barcode, everything is highly efficient and very very bery easy. No human intervention needed at all. The only thing is road noise since our room is facing the road. You can literally hear some passerby's conversation and all the vehicle noise. But will definitely come back again. We love it!!! "
