We took a gamble staying here with it being a new hotel and there being no reviews but it absolutely paid off!! We had a wonderful stay here! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the rooms are really spacious!! The photos of the hotel dont do it justice. Its also spotlessly clean and they provide you with absolutely everything; face masks on arrival, perfect self pamper following a day of exploring! Loved the location of being nearer the old side of Kyoto. Spacious lobby was lovely along with rooftop bar. Balance between sympathetic design and modern luxury. Breakfast was excellent and very varied to others we had in Japan. Room was good and a generous size. Ground floor didn’t have much light but that was okay as we were out all day. Only negatives, only one chair in room and not many places to be comfy and relax. No bath. Laundrette was not nearly big enough, turned out to be very...

Clean hotel in a great location.

The hotel is fairly new. It is centrally located within the district we stayed in about 4 km from Kyoto Station. The hotel staff were very helpful when we had to change our travel plans due to the cyclone that hit Tokyo and managed to find us alternative rooms in the hotel. Excellent service.

Very modern Japanese aesthetic with traditional service. Very hard to fault, very helpful staff, great food choices and extraordinarily clean.

Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc.

Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the little treats throughout the day, and the amenities was great.

I read the reviews about the location and there isn’t anything that isn’t walkabale to. They have a bus to drops you off in the station location was great. Beautiful rooms but I think some of the stuff is a bit outdated for a 5 star. Nonetheless amazing staff and experience

Such a lovely hotel with amazing staff and beautiful rooms. The hotel itself is really cool and comfortable and situated in a lovely neighborhood. We all loved our stay here.

Very clean and convenient hotel. The room was spacious and the facilities excellent. Breakfast at the hotel was good and all the staff were friendly and helpful. There’s plenty of good restaurants and dining options nearby as well.

Excellent super modern hotel with reasonable size rooms within 5 minutes walking distance of metro. Good base for Kyoto with regular buses to Gion. Reception staff are super helpful. Drinks and pastries free all day !

Wonderful in every way, beautiful terrace bar and onsen with views over Gion. The room and amenities were perfect.

Our room was very spacious and totally quiet. The area was busy but perfectly situated for transport, shopping and dining whilst being in the heart of the city and yet only half an hours walk from most of the numerous major attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly and the free coffee etc was very welcome. We’d definitely return should we have the opportunity.
