"We loved our time here! The room was actually pretty spacious compared to other hotels on our Japan trip around the same price point. It was nice to have a little kitchenette for tea and heating up food as well. Close by to A LOT of great food, activities and a park. It’s also a short walk from Kyoto station. The Resy team was very quick to communicate and give us anything we needed when we asked for it :) Would stay here again! "

"Nice size room and comfortable stay. It's a bit of a self check in style with no staff on site, though this was not an issue for us and check in was smooth. Staff were very responsive and helpful when contacted. Our room had a bit of a feet smell which I'm assuming was from a previous guest standing on the tatami after walking too long in Kyoto, though we had some air freshener with us so we fixed the problem xD"

"This was a beautiful traditional property. It was spacious with excellent extra touches to make your stay feel even more comfortable and stress free. You are also offered a delicious desert at the end of your day which was delicious. "

"The room itself was impeccably clean, however there is no housekeeping during your stay, so you will have to be responsible for maintaining it. The laundry room is fine, if not a bit inconvenient since there's no coin machine and it only takes specific coins that the hotel doesn't have in stock. The location is excellent though, you can immediately walk to a famous historical site, and Kyoto station is only 5 minutes away on foot. Super safe and clean neighborhood."

"Right in the heart of Kyoto, but away from the busy streets. Gave us plenty of opportunities for exploring. The heater took a while to kick in, but worked well through the night. The owners were always a phone call away, and friendly whenever we spotted them. They’d clean our bathroom and replace our towels while we were away. "
