"The rooms are clean and nice, and the property is very pretty. That said, the staff were relatively rude/aloof throughout, with the exception of the breakfast staff that were very kind and accommodating. The property is nice but the location has very little nearby within walking. There is loud music playing until about 1030pm. The restaurant is great. "

"This was a very nice hotel a few minutes outside the SJO airport. Very modern. Breakfast included which was delicious. Staff were friendly. Gated parking area. Felt very safe. Would definitely stay again. Worked well to get me outside of the city so I could beat the morning traffic down to Manuel Antonio. "

"The hotel is older, so while the rooms aren’t updated, they’re clean and the staff is very friendly. The price is fair for what you get, making it a good choice for a one- or two-night stay. It’s located on a busy road near the airport, with planes flying overhead, but the soundproofing works well. San Jose is about 30 minutes away, depending on traffic. The complimentary breakfast is excellent, and the pizza restaurant and bar are open from 6 to 9."
