"What I really love about Carillo as it was that the mall and all the stores were pretty closed like walking minutes from the hotel. It’s really in a good great location. What where didn’t like it was that there was something in the room and I got bitten by either spider or something a couple times so and staff don’t worry OK friendly but not very polite. You know from 1 to 5 I will give 3, 3.5"

"The elevator was broken. I had to carry my golf clubs and luggage up the stairs. There was sewer gas smell in the bathroom"

"The hotel is quiet or at least has been for the times we are there. I think it is because the guests are probably business travelers. The staff is friendly and the breakfast good - only disappointment is that they served Canadian bacon instead of bacon. The room had the bedroom seperate from the living room and the kitchen. I usually cannot sleep in hotel rooms because I feel trapped with nowhere to go should I toss and turn. Not this time, I slept very well - could very well be that I didn’t...

"It’s a spacious clean room with great AC, great blinds on window, plenty of lighting fixtures and great size TV Set. The location could not be better, right off the freeway, 24/7 Denny’s restaurant next door, walking distance to Starbucks, grocery store and shopping area. Only two things I was not ok with, the beds are noisy and the parking and hallways were very dark after sundown. I had to watch my every step going up or down stairs to feel safe."

"You stay in a hotel for two reasons. To sleep and to shower. When the shower water NEVER gets even warm or hot , it is a TERRIBLE shower. I made a complaint at the front desk and they said they would look into it. I checked out and it had not become warm or hot yet. I request a partial refund for this HUGE defect in your quality of stay. An ice cold shower sucks."

"The property was being renovated and we were not told that when we made the reservations. We couldn't get our money back therefore we had to stay and endure the inconvenience. The staff was friendly but there was miscommunication. They didn't inform us regarding the elevators.. We had to walk a long way around get to room on the 4th floor and we took the stairs up and down for the 3 days. My husband is 82 and I'm 80. Thank God we made it...Our room was clean and the breakfast was okay."

I was able to over hear their issues and concerns and she was able to handle all within a short time. Very helpful when it came to me and I was done within minutes.. Ms Garcia deserves a medal!"

"This place is a joke and they are refusing to return my deposit because I left the key in the room it's a scam people the TV doesn't even work and the owners are unprofessional and rude the room wasn't even clean no toilet paper I'm going to notify my bank book at your risk."
