"Exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of the old Sassi with easy access to everything. Beautiful property, every room a gem and the staff and ownership are superb. "We had a fantastic stay In The honeymoon room, it was warm, comfy, and the bath was amazing. Breakfast in bed before leaving was great. Parking is difficult in Matera but if lucky you can get a space right outside like we managed too. Antonio was great throughout our stay. "

"It was a fantastic place to stay! The staff is so kind and helpful"

"the room was clean. Breakfast was coffee tea and espresso. Biscuits and fruit and cereal. The place was hard to find with GPS. From main road turn right at Egpt gas station go 200 yards up and on your left.Owner very helpful with restaurants and about the Sasses. The Sasses are about 500 yards down the street on your right."

"Great location, yet quiet. Rooms were a good size."

"Excellent"

"Absolutely exquisite rooms carved into the caves of Matera. The entire town is full of stairs everywhere so difficult to transport luggage. Upon check in the male reception did not offer to help us with our bags that was difficult for to senior women. But in general, the rest of the staff was very helpful very kind very accommodating, beautiful magnificent hotel in the center of town but highly recommend it."
