"The staff were pleasant and friendly. The resort on the other side of the island gave much into tranquility and peace. If you are someone that loves going in the water of a Caribbean beach, utilize the shuttle that takes you to the other side of the island, but unfortunately the beach at the resort isn’t ideal. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. "The property is clean and well-maintained. However, the after-hours check-in process could be improved to make it smoother for guests arriving late or after hours. Additionally, the AC in the living room was not working, but it did work in all our bedrooms. Lastly, the shade umbrellas at the pool need maintenance. They are all broken in some way. The pool is on an exposed rooftop with no shade, so having functional working umbrellas would be a great improvement."

"Interesting experience When I first got to the hotel, it took my driver a good 10 minutes driving around to find the reception. There are no signs. Then, I walked up the stairs to the reception and asked for someone to help with my 3 heavy bags, the woman at the desk just looked at me. Meanwhile, my driver thankfully, carried all 3 bags up the stairs in the time she’d managed to call a colleague. "Place is very quiet, with no activity. Resort is a 2 star. The food ad drink I’ll give a 4 star. I would only recommend future travelers if there looking for a quiet time where you’re writing a book. It’s a very very quiet place. Rooms are out dated. Staff amazing, resort a 2 star."
