"Great location; didn’t use the shuttle from the airport because o arrived very late- almost midnight -wonder if a shuttle can be prearranged; I just took a taxi and know of others who walked to the hotel because it was daylight. The room was a bit small; however I was there just one night and was able to easily walk to the tram station to get to the main train station."

"The staff of Hotel David is amazing So helpful and accommodating I really appreciate them! The hotel itself is located right outside the ZTL and includes parking which is a huge plus. It is also super clean the room we stayed it is the biggest we have in a Europe hotel. They have complementary breakfast and Apperitivo. It was a great stayed and I appreciate the kindness of the staff"

Cet hôtel est donc plutôt bien situé hors ZTL, La rue qui passe juste devant est un peu bruyante avec la circulation mais rien de grave. Buffet de petit déjeuner de qualité…mais il fait très chaud dans la salle. Chambre très bien même si la salle de bain mériterait un rafraîchissement."

"The building doesn’t look like it has had any money spent on it since the 1980’s.Very shabby hotel, shame on the owners, it could be fab. Had holes in sheets and towels. No duvet it’s a 1950’s style blanket between sheets. Not hygienic these days. Dirt and dust everywhere. Cushions with stains on. One pillow each. Dining chairs in the breakfast room all broken. "Top to bottom flawless and fantastic stay! Super appreciative that our room was ready a little early prior to check in time. A beautiful hospitality gift was presented upon our arrival. Estlyn was such a friendly face each morning at breakfast as she kept us well stocked on espresso and cappuccinos!! Location was just perfect for us as we were so close to the Duomo and the Cathedral. Pleasantly the T2 tram from Peretola Airport brought us within 2 blocks of the hotel ( San Marco stop) which...

"We have always enjoyed our stay here. It is very comfortable. There are lots of areas to sit and relax, have a drink, read a book, have a chat, have a swim or go for a walk around the beautiful garden. The shuttle bus into Florence is very handy. "

"Beautiful, quiet surrounds. Walking distance to all major landmarks in Florence. Very friendly and helpful staff. No restaurant on site but breakfast is lovely and Giovanni has wonderful recommendations for where to eat. I didn’t have them but I’m told the cocktails are delicious. Didn’t use the pool which is small but would be a nice place to e to cool off after a day of touring"

"Our experience was consistent with previous reviews. Location is ideal. Easy entrance into main attraction area and with rooms off an interior courtyard property is super quiet at night. Rooftop terrace is ideal. Relaxing, great cocktails and a perfect way to end a day sightseeing in the crowds of Florence. We didn't realize the restaurant is not open for dinner. "The property has lots of road works … which increases the cost of any taxi trips … the reception staff were always helpful and we had an early check in … irons are not available to the room there is an ironing room … I checked with the hotel before we traveled and took our own steamer… the breakfast has a good selection the staff again were great … we ate at the hotel bar one night and the food options and food were good . "

"Was truly as beautiful and luxurious as it looks. I loved the staff. They were so kind always. Breakfast was great for a baby and adults. Saved us this trip with a 10 month old! So peaceful and close to Florence. Highly recommend."
