"The hotel itself is excellent, beautiful pool, rooftop area, great rooms and service. The restaurant downstairs is pretty overpriced, but there are plenty of delicious restaurants all within walking distance."

"Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. "We loved our stay here! The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast selection every morning including dairy free options for me. The pool area was beautiful as well. Just a short walk to beaches in the area and the old town. "

Many options great location five minutes away from the beach then you have the trails then you have the shopping in the city. Everything was very convenient. Great great great location."

"You were welcome to kindly when we arrived and shown a little bit about the town of Lagos. We had a welcome bottle of wine in our room, which was unexpected. Balcony over the pool was excellent for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails we quite like that. and the pool was lovely!! Pedro was kind and very hard-working."

"Rooms are immense but a bit worn. You get a huge variety of dishes and cookware. You are charged for your coffee pods but it is very reasonable. Parking is indeed free and very convenient, but DO ask exactly how to get out of the lot, because it is tricky. If the shower cofuses you as it did us, ask for directions, they are used to this and have directions at reception. Our room was one level up from the street and was very quiet.

"Less than a 10 minute walk to the old town with all the restaurants and shopping and the beaches, clean property, and great pools! Staff was informative and kind. "
"Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations. I had booked a private room with private bathroom as I was staying there a couple nights so cannot speak for the shared rooms. Included breakfast which was very appreciated. Clean, nice staff, great location."
"There is everything you need here. The accommodation has enough space to move around. The beach is right on your doorstep and the boardwalk within a few metres means you cann walk into the town in 20 minutes. Staff are very Good with any query or help needed. Our stay in May/June meant the traffic outside was very light and restaurant reservations were easy. Locals tell me this is very different in August, which is what you would expect for this location. We had a fantastic time and will return"
