"Where do I begin, first off the property is awesome, peaceful and beautiful. BUT we got there and the heaters (3) did not work, it was a very cold sleep. The next day we noticed that we had no coffee or utensils, we were given coffee and utensils. We were given a heater but that still left the bathroom freezing. I’d love for my husband and I to return and stay for more than 1 night. We also heard about the owners’ son who was murdered in Singapore and purchased the book about it while there. "Standing Stones is a unique and beautiful place. The grounds are lovely and the rooms are filled with antique furnishings that create a warm and comfortable feel. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was a restful place to spend the night Breakfast was delicious and the company was a great way to begin our adventure around the lakes."
