"The pool wasn't quite as big as I had hoped based on the picture, BUT it had one very big advantage over lots of other hotel pools: it has an ACTUAL DEEP END (9 ft). "We brought our 2 3-year-olds and 10 year old for a little getaway and this hotel was perfect. There was always something to do, it was close to town, and the kids had a blast. My only real complaint is that there was only one elevator and getting to and from the room was a little inconvenient, but we will definitely be back!"

"First off, the front desk staff during our stay was amazing-funny, kind and helpful. The room was good, pretty much just a normal room. Breakfast was good and dining area was nice. And the complimentary coffee in the lobby kept us going. The pools and hot tub were wonderful, but we had to stay mindful to avoid needing a tetanus shot, as the doors from the indoor to outdoor pool were almost 100% rust. Really quite unacceptable that these doors haven’t been changed."

"Long-Time Repeat Guest — 4 Stars Instead of 5 Because of One Terrible Family We’ve been coming to Marine Village Resort for the past 8 years, usually a couple of times a year, and have always enjoyed it. The staff are consistently helpful, the rooms are clean, and the AC works great (nice and cold when you need it). The beachfront location in Lake George Village is hard to beat. What dropped this stay from a 5-star experience was one horrible large family that made the whole place miserable....

"Overall it was a great experience. Staffs were very helpful and nice. Lots of amenities, kid loved the pools and the zipline. Free to use paddle board/kayak which is great. Bouncehouse wasn’t there when we visited. We booked last minute so the only room that was left was on the mountain side, which was across the lakeside. You have to cross a busy road to get to the lakeside and that was a bit dangerous for kids. I hope the bed could be better. But given its last minute booking I can’t...
