"It's a place to flop in a quiet, economically struggling but beautiful area. Adjacent to the hospital, walkable to local shops, restaurant / bar on premises, easy access to Delaware River. "The room was lovely. The hotel is beautiful. We had a room in the actual building not in one of the outbuilding/cabins unfortunately because we were there just at the opening of season. The restaurant and bar were not up yet. Travel to other restaurants is good 10 to 15 minutes or longer. The pool was not open yet of course but during season, I’m sure it’s lovely and the staff was kind and very attentive."

"If you are allergic to a cat, there is a lot of cats… I booked through Expedia. Upon arrival, the front desk couldn’t find my reservation and insisted on creating a new one with my card. After much insistence, they located it but had no room ready, forcing me to wait. Placed in a room with a strong urine smell (likely dog) in the bathroom. No room number signs in the hallway, and the same odor was in the main first-floor bathroom. No Wi-Fi password provided. Breakfast was okay. Photos on Expedia...

"The owner is nice as can be, but unfortunately I have to be honest in this review- My night there was not pleasant by any means. Parking was a bit of an issue as the bar/restaurant loaded the parking lot and then there were cones out on the far end of the parking area which really made it hard to park. Front door to the room didn't entirely shut which allowed flying bugs into the room all night. There were gnats or something all over the room- on the pillow, on the bed, in the bathroom. ...
