"The beds were amazingly comfortable. Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Breakfast was ok. However, the children next door who were allowed to slam doors, scream ND yell, and run up and down the hallways from 11 pm until well after 1 am was not appreciated. We even called the front desk and it didn't help."
"They put me in the third floor with people that must live in the hotel, it was not life the first two floor remodeled. The people stayed awake alright on both sides of of and across the hall!! Plus two of them had Big Dogs one being a pit bull they barked all night , as if that wasn't enough I tried to.
Check out early but I would've lost one day that was already paid for plus my 100 cash deposit due to getting bit by bed bugs."
"Very run down and all smoking rooms. Definitely didn't feel safe staying there. Checked out the earliest I could. No help with getting any reimbursement for only spending one night when I had book for 6 nights."
"The first room (108), had a big crack in the window. The second room (102), the toilet was loosely connected to the floor and there was some water seepage under the flooring. We stayed 2 nights but our room was not cleaned on the second day of our stay. Could use a second night stand & a full length mirror. Only amenities were soft drinks."
"We didn't arrive until very late, 11pm, so didn't notice the small spots of blood on our sheets until the morning. We mentioned it on the note left by housekeeping, but never received a reply. tbh, we should've gone to the front desk to request two more pillows. Two hard, and two soft just don't cut it."
"We were in town for a soccer tournament and stayed one night. We paid $168 which seemed a little high compared to previous stays at La Quintas but not enough to be bothered by. Our first game was Saturday morning so after an early lunch we were hoping we’d be able to check in early, around noon.. We were told that would be fine but would cost another $23. We were tired so we didn’t complain but now we’re ~$185 in for the room. I would’ve been ok with that until we walked to our room and saw how dilapidated the place was and the strong musty smell throughout the hotel. The room seemed to be clean but it was hard to be sure because of the paint, grout, cracking, loose tiles, dusty vanity cabinet, etc. It wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed in but those places were $50 rooms and what you’d expect at that price. Factoring the room rate with the condition of the property, this may be the worst hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed at.a lot over the years."
"There was a cockroach in the wall of our room. While the staff were setting up the extra bed, the cockroach crawled back into the wall, and no one acknowledged it or apologized. I had originally booked a double queen room, but instead of moving us to the correct room or relocating us, an extra bed was brought in from the hallway where it was stored with other items and squeezed into the room. We waited a very long time for the bed to be set up.The maintenance staff who handled the bed were kind and professional. However, the two front desk staff members we interacted with—both at check-in and when we came down to report the issue—were very nonchalant, did not address the situation appropriately, and did not offer any apology, which made the experience even more frustrating and disappointing."
