Hungry Trout Resort is definitely overrated. There’s no microwave in the room, no lunch service available, and WiFi connectivity is poor – expect frequent drops. The room lamps didn’t work properly, making the stay inconvenient.
Despite being advertised as a resort, it feels more like an average motel that shouldn’t cost more than $70–$75 per night. The furniture is outdated, and yes, you might even spot spider webs in the room corners.
The photos online are misleading – while it promises a mountain view, 50% of it is blocked by trees, so don’t expect a clear scenic experience.
