Very disappointed. We used to live this property as it used to allow dogs in the bar area (and we have eaten at the bar as well as the area next to it many times in the past with our dog) - unfortunately they did not allow this anymore - we therefore went to Maggie’s restaurant at the desolation hotel nearby which was perfect in allowing dogs at dinner. In the fire will book that hotel instead of the Landing.

This is my favorite hotel in Tahoe. I have stayed other places but this place tops them all for the class, food, and ambience. I had the best room with fireplace and lake view. The staff is always professional, friendly, and provide great recommendations regarding where to go. The bell and valet service are the kindest people you will met. They provide superb service and treat guest like King and Queens. I recommend this place to all my family and friends.
