"I would give Marriott’s Timber Lodge an overall rating of 3 out of 5 stars. The best parts of the stay were the location, cleanliness, and staff service. The hotel is in a great central area with easy access to shops, restaurants, and nearby attractions, and it is not far from the lake. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. "This resort was probably a shining star in the 90s but it's pretty dilapidated nowadays and in need of updating and renovations. The price was great for an apartment in that locations and the beds were comfortable - we did enjoy our stay! One major issue I want to mention, for families with young kids, is the spiral staircase to the loft. "Stayed here 3 times this winter and all stays were consistently very good. Had everything I could need. Tucked away from the main strip but close enough if you wanted to venture out. Home away from home. "

"Although this is an older timeshare it is kept in very good condition and had everything we could possibly need (no oven but who wants to do that kind of cooking on vacation). We have been there a half dozen times and will be back again this summer! "
