"Galaxy Boutique Hotel -A very nice place to stay. A summary:
- Pre-arrival contact: We were contacted before our arrival to confirm the booking, etc.;
- Parking: the hotel offers free onsite parking for guests.
- Check-in: Check-in was very efficient and helpful.
- Room readiness: The hotel appears very new. The room was ready and very well presented. The rooms have an amazing view of the mountains and lake from large windows.
- Bathroom + toiletries: the bathroom was very clean and the toiletries were very nice;
- Storage/cupboards: There was clothes hanging space and drawers.
- Tea and coffee making: There was tea and coffee making and a small refrigerator.
- Bed: The bed was very nice to sleep in.
- Pillows: There were 2 pillows per person.
- Locality/restaurants/shops: The location is a short drive to the centre of town. There are many restaurants, shops, cafe's and convenience stores.
Hotel dining - the hotel offers breakfast in the dining room or delivered in your room.
Highly recommended."

"The view was fantastic. It was central location and you can walk everywhere. The layout of the unit was suitable for the family. The parking can be a challenge after rain as the large pools of water covers the area. The instructions to the suite wasn't clear. We struggled to find the suite in the dark as the street lights were off"

"We were given a room with handicap bathroom and after washing my hair the water flooded the room completely. We could hear the people walking around the unit upstairs all the time. The interior and exterior is pretty run down. We had no choice to take this room because it was the last minute booking and most places were booked. The only plus point was they did include free cooked breakfast at the Dough cafe next door and you can't fault the location."

"The staff were so helpful and room was spot on.
The view of Lake Tekapo was unbelievable and we had a laundry room next door and small kitchen in the room.
Places to eat were just down the road with a variety of food available😊"

Location was reasonably central with a short 10 minute walk to shops etc
GPS did not recognise the address so had a little trouble finding the unit.
Very clean and had everything you need for a short stay.
