"I booked a room with queen room with sofa bed. I’m not sure if there was an error because we ended up in a one bedroom condo with a full kitchen, gas fireplace and balcony and access to a ski locker on the 1st floor. They let us check in early which was amazing since the ski resort was almost entirely on a weather/wind hold. We only stayed one night and we were able to leave our vehicle in the parking garage after checkout, making it very convenient given 26” of powder and partially blue skies...

"The property is clean and located mere steps from the Palisades Tahoe village and the Tram building (and also close to the bottom of the WaSheShu lift I think). Convenient parking for one vehicle per room in the adjacent garage. Staff was friendly and helpful, though maybe a little slow on checking people in that night. Some parts of the property were undergoing renovation during my stay, so I gave the Property Condition only 4 out of five stars."

This no-frill Pepper Tree Inn is also in need of renovation (old-style motel layout; slow elevator; some stains here and there; no breakfast; etc.), which is scheduled for later this year. "We had a wonderful time. Being in a top floor, we had vaulted ceilings, spacious two bedroom and 2.5 bathrooms. A large fully equipped kitchen. W/D, fireplace, deep tubs…it was so nice. Our east side view also gave us the wonderful AM sunlight streaming thru our bedrooms in the morning. I would recommend doing spot cleaning for the couches and carpets. We also were almost back broken due to the stiff mattresses. Few issues that we made work: jacuzzi was out of order during the visit, fire...
