"It's a dated Best Western property (circa late 90's) and it looks the part. However I did enjoy my stay despite the lack of modernism. The hotel definitely shows its age from the lobby to the rooms. The room was adequately clean despite the mold in the washrooms. With some TLC and some attention to detail this could be a nice budget property. 4/5"
"Ample parking. Decent room with reasonable prices. The free "breakfast" was very sparse. Biscuits, make your own waffles, and packets of sugar laden oatmeal was about it. Nothing healthy available. The main entrance doors opened into a small vestibule which had a soda machine in it. There's a second set of doors that open to the front lobby. Due to the small size of the vestibule, the soda machine made that little area very hot! You're instantly taken back by the humming noise of the machine and the heat. Once you get through those two sets of doors, it's fine, just be aware. The other frustrating thing that happened the next morning was this: I received an email from Wyndham, corporate owners of Super 8 motels, asking me to let them know what time I would be checking out. Check out time at this particular motel is 11 am, and that is very clearly posted Anyway, I wanted to go find a decent breakfast place and run an errand, so I answered their email with 10:30 am. I left my suitcase in the room and left . I got back to the motel at 10 am and was surprised to see that housekeeping had my room door wide open, and the bed stripped. Other rooms up and down the hallway were also propped open. They did not bother my suitcase at all, but I needed to brush my teeth and use the bathroom. I closed and double locked the door to ensure that the staff would not interrupt me. I told the manager on duty about that. I had a hard time understanding his strong Indian accent."
"Evening check in staff was very cordial. Room had a clean smell when entering. Room window severely cracked with hole in glass? Breakfast was poor quality, dining area was not clean or tables sanitized after use.
Room furnishings were dusty. No room service (no cleaning/pick up used towels wash cloths & replace during 2 day stay). Very noisy with several sports teams present. Fire alarm set off during 1st night-child prank. Did not use hot tub or pool.
Convenient location. Landscape poorly maintained."
