"This was a great location for our 1st trip to Maui. The property was beautiful!! The staff so welcoming & friendly. I would recommend renting a car as the resort is about 40 minutes from the airport. Also so you can get around the island. Whalers village was also very nice & convenient with shopping and food options. "This was our first time to Maui and it far exceeded even our highest hopes of what it would be. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, we had an amazing view of the ocean, countryside and mountain from our balcony. The staff was incredible, the food was delicious, the culture was amazing. We will definitely be back. My only complaint is now I have no idea how I'm supposed to top the trip we just had for our honeymoon. "
