"Honestly I really liked this place. It was like having your own little apartment while on vacation. It’s within walking distance to everything but easily accessible to public transportation. The staff were so friendly and very helpful with the 1 million questions I had. The room comes with a fridge and hot water kettle to make coffee and tea which is so convenient. I really like this place. If I ever find myself back in Scotland will stay here."

"Nice place for what it is but location has 2 big issues. Road noise is extremely high especially very early morning, bring ear plugs. Buses do go direct to central city but are overloaded in the mornings - commuters and lots of school kids. Some buses are so crowded they don’t even stop"

"Initially we chose this place because it's within walking distance of the city central. It exceeded our expectations. It's on a quiet side street and is a historic building, lovingly restored. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the morning before our breakfast. In the evening, after walking around all day, we relaxed in the library with a whisky. It was like being in someone's beautiful estate."

"There is no one on staff as it is a self service hotel. But all my questions were answered quickly via email! Our check in was smooth and easy! Our hotel room was beautiful with gorgeous wallpaper! The linens were superior and the beds were comfortable! If you are noise sensitive while sleeping, I would recommend asking for a room away from the street which was quite busy overnight!"
