Prachtig resort. Geweldig ontbijt met keuze uit 2 restaurants, zwembaden prachtig. Bounty setting. Fantastisch personeel. Niks is teveel. Verbeterpunten: de tv zenders beperkt en matige ontvangst. Geen smart tv.

お部屋は落ち着いた雰囲気で清潔感もあり快適に過ごせました。 毎朝、ベランダで椅子に座りコーヒーを飲みながら朝日を見るのが日課となりました。 実は旅行中、誕生日を迎えたのですが当日 外出先からお部屋に戻るとベッドの上に「HAPPY BIRTHDAY」と葉っぱと花で飾られており、すごく嬉しく 心遣いに感動しました。 また是非ペランギリゾートに泊まりたいです。

Die renovierten Zimmer mit Meerblick sind wirklich super. Ein großer Balkon mit zwei Stühlen hat man auch. Am Strand sind ausreichend liegen und Schattenplätze. Die beiden Pools sind wirklich auch sehr schön angelegt. Wir hatten nur Frühstück gebucht. Dieses war ausgesprochen lecker. Man hatte die Auswahl zwischen zwei frühstückslokalen. Beide sind zu empfehlen. Fussläufig sind zahlreiche Restaurants , Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Great beach location and overall hotel excellent. Good spacious rooms too. The pools (2 of them) were great sizes and there was a children’s fun pool too. The surrounding town has some authentic Malayan restaurants but for those not use to holidaying or traveling in Asia they may seem a little basic but the food is pretty good overall. Hotel has a great breakfast choice and the evening meals were a good option for those clients chose to stay on resort

We had a great 5 night stay. Our room was had an island view with balcony where we could sit and watch the sunset. We used the large cascade pool (the other pool was more for families) which was great. Breakfast was very good with lots of options and two locations to choose from. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is a short taxi/Grab ride to the airport and it was easy to walk into town either along the beach or the road.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The property is really nice with great facilities. Our toddler enjoyed the kids pool. Very friendly, caring and helpful staff that genuinely was interested in providing service. The first 2 days of our stay, we felt that service could be more efficient but after that we had no issues at all. We loved the dinner buffet and the overall vibe on the weekend. We definitely would recommend this property to our friends and family.

‘Be stayed many times over the years.’ The recent infrastructure changes have led to significant improvements in key areas (rooms brighter; cascade pool now larger bigger bar). However the main reception area has lost much of its charm (not much of a social area anymore) and the service levels have dropped somewhat. The staff are as lovely as always, but it all feels a bit ‘corporate’ compared to a few years ago when ‘attention to detail’ seemed to matter more.

Hotel is older but very well maintained. Staff are excellent! Breakfast was a solid B, but could use some added options. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, but the VIP Access was never acknowledged or offered in any manner. I highly recommend this property for convenience and affordability.

Good: Located in Cenang, location is walkable to the main street or cheap Grab ride away from everything. Refurbished cascade pool, great staff, large rooms which are clean and refurbished. Off peak season low prices as compared to other properties. We stayed during Chinese new year when the price was same as Westin. Great for kids, new kids club plus animal farm. Spa is new reasonably priced and exceptional service Bad : Food is crap sorry there are no other words to describe it. The main pool will be nice once refurbished (planned between July2024 to Dec 2024) in current state I was concerned either myself or my kid will step on a broken tile and cut ourselves. Again we tried all three food outlets the lobby, Pelangi and spice, offerings are expensive and worst I have tried in an 5star property. If you skip the food I will be repeat customer for food I will go to nextdoor Casa Del Mar(walking) for dinner or lunch and smiling buffalo for breakfast(7 ringgit grab ride). Dec to April is dry seasons we had brown water coming out of tap but were assured it was already treated, so stuck to bottled water and no one got sick so it was indeed treated. 2024 Jan-Feb was exceptionally dry in Langkawi. Property facilities are being renovated and if the main pool is refurbished we might revisit and hope the F&B offering improves. No upgrade or great perks with VIP access (gold) but may be it was peak season with Chinese new year. Gym: add rowing machine and more instruments

Had a garden triple suite. Massive space, really comfortable and private with views of pond, pool and children's farm, small terrace balcony with shade. Really high ceiling with air-conditioning and fan. Short walk to cascade pool. 30 to 40 mins max drive to places of interest on the island. Weather consistently idyllic. Would love to stay here again. Staff are incredible too. Buggy rides available as its quite a big resort.

Locatie was mooi maar de gebouwen waren wat gedateerd,zwembad heeft wat onderhoud nodig maar was wel heerlijk,voldoende parasollen. Eten in restaurant Pelangi grill was beperkt ,magere menukaart en de 2 x per week bbq avond aRm160 was zeer beperkt en meestal koud eten. Ook bij ontbijt meeste warme producten te koud. Overall voor de locatie betaal je maar qua service viel het tegen. Room service was goed en vriendelijk. Check in was prima,vriendelijk en als je intern vervoerd moet worden wordt je gebracht met een elektrische kar. In mijn ogen geen 5 sterren accomodatie ,alleen de prijs is dat.

Nice modern looking resort and facilities. Staff need to be more attentive, they left my luggage outside the luggage locker room. For the price, the minibar should have been complimentary. Other than that, everything else was pretty great. Location of the resort is amazing.

We were really looking forward to our stay here but unfortunately, it commenced with a $250AUD charge per person on check-in for a "Compulsory" New Year's Eve Dinner that was hidden in the fine print of the booking. When questioned, as anyone would, as to why this would be compulsory, we were told that we "were in their country" & they could impose this. We paid & attended a far from a 5-star buffet, bottled water & champagne were at an additional cost beyond the unreasonable fee for attending. Never on a holiday have we been told something was compulsory, nothing should be compulsory. Things did not improve, getting somewhere to sit around the pool was difficult with people "reserving" spots from 7am & not even using them. There is an insufficient amount of sunbeds at both pools. The Internet connectivity made it impossible to download anything. We had a power outage, an A/C outage, & a water failure. The next day our swipes were deactivated. so back to reception we go. When my partner was unwell, I was stopped from taking a croissant back to the room by staff at the breakfast buffet, which was unbelievable. Simply not a 5-star resort or a 5-star experience. The beach is not ideal for swimming, most of it is cordoned off by a sandbag. We spent most of our days driving to Tanjung Rhu Beach to rent a sunbed there. Staff don't care about your experience or feedback. Imposing compulsory attendance & charges was just a huge money-grab event – Worst location for a holiday.

Dear sir/Madam,Thank you for sharing your concerns. The compulsory dinner on New year eve has been an ongoing yearly practice in the island. This has been notified in all booking channels prior guest ops to make a reservation. To be fair it is not a fine print as explained above. The room key are magnetic hence having it closer to any electronic device will interfere the cards memory. we are unable to find the main reason of key failure as your booking details cant be traced. The sand bags at the beach are for soil erosion and does not deter guest to access the sea for their swimming pleasure. The deck chair placed at both pools and beach are sufficient for the capacity of pool. Hope above explanation clarifies your concern and thank you for taking time to share it with us.Regards

Die Anlage und der Service sind unglaublich. Das Einzige was gestört hat,war die Tatsache,dass schon morgens am Pool mit Schatten direkt nach dem Frühstück alle Plätze belegt waren,man dann aber über den Tag nie so viele Leute liegen bzw. im Pool gesehen hat und man selbst keinen Platz ergattert hat. Am zweiten Pool gibt es nicht wirklich Schattenoptionen,so dass dieser als Alternative für uns nicht in Frage kam. Aber das war auch wirklich das einzige was negativ auffiel. Alles andere war tiptop!

We had a great stay at the Pelangi. It was perfect for our family and young baby. She especially loved the splash pool and water slides which were perfect for children of all ages. The grounds are nicely laid out and relaxing. The service staff was extremely accommodating and made us feel very well taken care of. Would definitely return again in future.

Excellent stay with a toddler!
Breakfast and all the amenities were really good. You can walk from the hotel and find food options outside the hotel aswell.
