"The hotel is located on the mountain and the view of lake Lugano is spectacular. As it turns out, the rest of the experience was less so. We arrived around 10pm and by then, the kitchen was closed. The staff reluctantly served us drinks while at the same time wiping tables and closing down - despite the fact that the bar was supposed to stay open for another 30 minutes. "Really lovely B&B such good value for money. Cleaned often plenty of towels soap ext provided. Hosts were great at communicating super helpful and ready to answer questions. Very cute town with lovely views. The room was spacious and clean and we were provided with really useful stuff for our stay including a hair dryer and adaptor plug. Only negative would be that the bus service was a bit confusing however this is not the fault of the B&B at all and they included bus information and...

"This hotel is in an excellent location in Moltrasio, with the lake and ferry wharf on the other side of the road. Parking is available a short distance away. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were good. The air conditioning was very good."

"Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staff were very kind and helpful. Be aware of the road if you’re traveling from Lugano - the hotel is located up on the mountain and roads were pretty tight and steep curved turns for about 20-25 minutes."

"A very pleasant self-catering studio about 70 metres down the hill from the main hotel and towards the town centre. It is on the first floor of a very pretty town house, and has good enough cooking/eating equipment. There is an excellent food section in a department store further down the hill in the town centre, about 200 metres away ... if you are ok with carrying your groceries back up to the accommodation."

"We were very happy with our stay at LUGANODANTE. The location is perfect, close to shopping, restaurants, the train, and waterfront. They also have parking onsite which was very convenient. All the employee we met were extremely helpful and friendly. We loved the Mixology drinks and the breakfast buffet was first rate."
