"The pelican is a boutique hotel right on the beach in Ft. Lauderdale. The suite we stayed in was really nice and spacious. I didn’t like the bathroom shower. It’s a partition glass and they tied up the handheld shower so it makes it difficult to shower. The staff is very friendly and their restaurant is quite good. "

"The first room had a flood from an overflowed sink when we arrived. My 13 yo son slipped and fell on the floor as a result. We were switched to another room that was leaking with water from the rain and the wind was blowing through the doors. We were offered to switch to another room but at this time we were too tired. "

"It's a nice clean hotel. The room we stayed is was very comfortable. Unfortunately due to the rooms design the TV in on the side wall not in the front. The first night the main light switch as you enter the room worked but stopped after. The king bed was very low. Nice bathroom. We would definitely stay there again."
