The rooms were very clean and spacious, provided hairdryer, toiletries, mini fridge - this was essential for us. Great location - walking distance from the city centre. Would definitely stay here again. Personal preference - would like the option of additional pillows in the room "

"Loved this hotel. Located just a short drive (or Uber) outside of the city, it's a nice, clean, fairly modern space. Staff could not have been nicer or friendlier, breakfast - which was included for us - was great and plenty. Parking is key, and convenient for us to get out to sightsee and explore the city, but also for a quick getaway to the airport early in the morning. Spa amenities are lovely, and overall the stay was excellent. We didn't eat at Hekla, but right downstairs and has good ratings. Food looked good as we were going by, and customers seemed to be enjoying it. "

"Room was perfect as long as you dont expect to sleep! The noise from the ventilation was so loud! I was emailing till 4am trying to get it fixed and i was so angry and frustrated i demanded a new hotel. They didn't fix the ventilation, all they did was offer me another room.... which is also connected to the noisy ventilation system. I asked for refund for my remaining days so i could pay for a new hotel but they refused. AWFUL AWFUL experience. Avoid at all costs!"
