"I stood for a wknd solo trip at Hotel Fron. The rooms lighting wasnt that great. The bathroom was extremely small with no sink space at all. The staff was very very nice. However, upon leaving, I asked the hotel staff how to go about ordering a cab to the airport; which was ordered for me by the hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, I was charged $160 for a 45 min car ride. Of course I paid it but I felt completely robbed and overcharged."

"Lovely hotel in perfect location. Short walk into Reykjavik. We were pleased to be away from centre and to avoid potential noise late at night. Hotel staff were courteous and able to book our return journey to KEF airport. If we returned to Reykjavik we would certainly return to this hotel. Rooms were warm, we had room at rear of hotel overlooking garden area, away from traffic. "

"The Reykjavik Edition is a lovely hotel and the location is very good. Staff were very attentive. We only had breakfast at the hotel and it was a very good selection of food on offer with gorgeous views overlooking the harbor. At peak times, they did run out of glasses and it took a while before they were replaced so people ended up using cups for their juice. We were a family of 3 staying in a double queen room. There is not enough storage in the room for 3 people and we travelled pretty light. I know the hotel is going for a dark/atmospheric look which I like, but they took it to far. We had every single light on in our room and it was still quite dark unless we opened the blinds. Heated flooring in the bathroom was a nice touch. Apart from the dark room, we would definitley stay here again."

"Perfect location! The rooms were spacious & had everything we needed. Staff was friendly & helpful every time we interacted. Breakfast was wonderful. We were in Iceland for a week & stayed at a few places, and this was our favorite!"

"The staff during night shift was excellent (forgot to ask his name) very helpful, approachable and great customer service skills. He deserves a shout out. Breakfast and dinner was ok same choices good thing we only stayed 5days but great value and when your tired from tours no brainer you can have a hot meal in a jiffy "
