"Our stay at Eyja was lovely. The rooms are chic and the beds are comfy, the bar area is adorable and the staff was helpful. My only complaints are that the gym was pretty lackluster (there’s really just yoga mats and a broken row machine) and the bar and restaurant close so early - I believe at 9? Having some food options other than chips for nights when we came in later would have been great!"

"Quite pleased with my stay at the Alda. Very professional and courteous staff . My room had a balcony so I could walk out and enjoy the views and the weather. Enjoyed having enough space to spread my gear out and get organized. Breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. The hotel is in part of the main tourist and shopping area so it is very walkable to most all destinations. Definitely would recommend. "

"The hotel was lovely and central to the city. Most areas were in walking distance from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.
My only gripe was that the kitchenette was damaged with the fridge tilting backwards and was a little awkward to open without it tilting forward. Clearly the cabinet base needed repairing room 104. Please fix it. You would have 5 stars if it wasn't broken on arrival.

"Clean, modern apartment in the center of Reykjavik. It was well-appointed and had everything we needed for a short stay. The beds were comfortable and having a washing machine & drying rack was a plus. We loved that we could easily walk everywhere in Reykjavik, but it’s also close to the highway to go exploring. Parking options are paid on the street or in the garage below the building. We never had an issue finding a spot. Highly recommend and would stay here again. "
