"I searched for a hotel with parking and breakfast. Palazzo Novecento came up, but did not meet any of these criterias. Np parking, no reception and no real breakfast. No en-suite bathroom. The room itself was OK. Had to wait 20 minutes for the landlord to lock us in (after we had agreed arrival time and called ahead as they asked). We had to park some 4-500 meters away in the public parking. The breakfast was cakes/biscuits on a table in the hall, no drinks/coffee, and nowhere to sit. A very central location."

"We added another night to our stay and we were upgraded to a suite at a reduced price. It was a great room with fantastic views of the lake and mountains. The staff was very friendly and we truly loved our stay here! "

"Albergo Sala was a unique experience in the small village of Valbrona. It was quiet and not much to do but that's what we were looking for. The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was wonderful. The inn is historic and has been in the family for a few hundred years! As it is off the beaten track it is advisable to have a car as public transport is infrequent and challenging and taxi service is quite expensive. Aside from that it was a great place to stay a few days."

"Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake. "
