"The staff were great and courteous. The property was really nice, I especially loved the robes in the room and the gym was amazing. I wish I had more time to enjoy the different areas. I only ate from the hotel restaurant once for lunch -salmon but it was really good though of course felt a little overpriced for the portion size. It was still filling though. "

"1) The day we arrived the toiled in the room was sprayed with fecal matter. Not sure how housekeeping missed that. I have a photo of this. 2) The room is moldy. The smell of mold was intense. This is the second time I stay at this hotel and the smell was present in both rooms. 3) The shower was clogged the first day. We had maintainance come in and handle it. 2 days later the shower was clogged again. It took 2 days to get maintainance back. The day before our checkout we wake up and the shower is filled with white/yellow water. Front desk provided us with an adjacent room to shower in. 4) At check in, when we got into the room, we noticed the fire detector was covered with a bag. We let it be and didn’t think much of it. After checking out, the hotel charged us a $250 smoking fee when we never smoked in the room. They said that they have a photo of the plastic bag around the smoke detector and that’s enough evidence. The front desk person called me a liar when I instisted that the bag was there when we checked in and we didn’t smoke in the room. I have stayed at several Sonesta’s before. This one ruins my opinion of this brand, although I had never had issues at other properties owned by Sonesta before. Overall, terrible experience. "

"If I can give this place a lower star, I would starting off the bat we need to change the pictures, some of the review that are good are ppl to probably are moving thru staying one night. because it is nothing as what you see when you try to book this hotel. It is in the middle of nowhere very sketchy area trucking highway, the hotels under construction, and even the construction or the areas that are done. Still need to be worked on. We got our first room. There were dead bugs that look like bedbugs. Some where still moving, They changed us to a different room, the new room that we went to was OK only reason why we stood was because every other hotel around us was fully booked. We did not have a phone in our room so that we will be able to call front Desk. We asked if we can speak to the manager. They said the manager wasn’t in until Monday. They gave us a phone number. Phone number does not work so yeah if I was you, I would not be booking at this hotel. "
