Beautiful resort in great location

Fantastic resort at a great location. Service was impeccable. If I had one negative, it's that I wish that the dining options included more Spanish cuisine. The room service menu had very few Spanish items, and even the restaurants were not particularly Spanish in focus. For many visiting the area, the Andalucian cuisine is what we look forward to. But, overall, a wonderful resort.

Great place for a last minute family stay

Made a last minute reservation at the DoubleTree and were accommodated without any problems. Comfortable, air-conditioned rooms. Beautiful pools and beach club. Food and drinks were plentiful.

I didn't like the fact that reception told us we had an hour to get to Dinner because they close at 2200, but when we arrived, it was 2130, and so what was supposed to be a nice dinner turned into a nightmare.

We stayed in the hotel in the second half of June. We were in a King bed Room. It was large and comfortable, had a good balcony, large wardrobe space, a safe, and a large TV. The bathroom was not what one would expect. Although it was large, it had a shower over bath rather than a full shower; there was no bidet; and the toilet was far away from running water. We had breakfast in the hotel. There was a lot of variety, even if, to our taste, the quality could have been better. The main problem was that the breakfast lounge felt overcrowded at weekends, when hotel guests significantly increase in numbers. There is free open-air parking, which, however, is insufficient when the hotel is at full capacity. The hotel has an expensive garage. Much less understandable is that the hotel also charges for a large outside gated parking area which, presumably because of the expensive charge, remains almost empty, i.e. it is a negligible source of revenue for the hotel. It would be much better if that area was made available for free parking. The hotel is far away from everything but it offers a free, scheduled, shuttle service.

Observações necessários

Otimo hotel, mas nao é excelente porque nao avisam que a area kids só funciona no verão, a piscina aquecida só funciona de 13 às 16 para as crianças, horário do almoço. Na descrição do hotel aparecem 6 restaurantes , mas só tem 1 na hora do almoço com o cardápio bem reduzido e um outro à noite. Tranfer para a praia só funciona no verão. Essas observações deveriam constar para nao pegar o hóspede de surpresa. Viajamos com 2 crianças e foi um pouco frustante. A área externa do hotel é lindissima.
