"Everything was okay. Some of the lights were fused. Shower head need to be fixed. Closet door has a hole, I think damaged by the security latch because it’s very close to entrance door. Mainly carpet was filthy. "

"The room was not clean, there was hair in the sink and flicks of toothpaste on the mirror. The bathroom tub/shower was so bad we didn't feel comfortable showering in it. The toilet paper roll had 8 squares of toilet paper on it and we had to put the new roll on ourselves. The back of the bathroom door was coming apart and there were dust bunnies in every corner. I was happy we only had to be there 9 hours!"

"Staff was nice. BUT…. when we went to the room we were very disappointed, was dirty, floors, bathroom etc.. Bed covers has cigarette burns, it was so dirty on the side of the mattress:( lamp was missing a lightbulb. I saw Wyndham on website, and assume it was a ok, but it’s nothing like the pictures. Didn’t leave because I had no where else to stay and didn’t want to fight over a refund. I don’t recommend, Needs a lot of upgrades."

"I recently stayed at the Virginia Cliffe Inn and had such a wonderful experience, especially when it came to breakfast. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. "We stayed in a two-queen-bed suite and were impressed by how spacious it was. The hotel is relatively new, and everything—from the room to the common areas—felt clean and well-maintained. That said, the hotel gets extremely busy on weekends, especially during events like the Jefferson’s Cup. With so many families staying there, it can get quite noisy at night, with kids running through the hallways and in nearby rooms. "Our breakfast experience was disappointing. The food quality was poor, but the service was worse; the staff member was quite dismissive and initially refused to serve my son, despite him being included on our breakfast card. It took an intervention from the manager to resolve the issue. Ultimately, the service did not meet the expectations promised at check-in."

"Very disappointing stay. Strong marijuana smell in the hallways 24/7. Room had multiple issues: sink wouldn’t drain (almost overflowed just washing my face), and the closet smelled like urine. Elevators were extremely slow, and WiFi was unusable—I had to rely on my phone hotspot. Overall, the hotel needs serious improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and basic guest experience. It’s sad because you can tell at one time, the property was probably gorgeous!"
