"The whole historic establishment was clean, well restored, and well maintained. Unlike some ultra-modern hotels, there was ample storage space in both the room and bathroom. The room floor was carpeted. Staffing was ample, friendly and courteous, knowledgeable, and largely proficient in English."

"Really enjoyed our stay , front desk and bar staff were excellent, breakfast was fine but needed some variety, no sausage in Portugal! We did find all the construction to be very loud during the day and the trams pass in front of the hotel at all hours. The entertainment in the bar was nice and having water and snacks throughout the day was a plus. Would recommend but be aware of the construction noise."

"Enjoyed the hotel, staff were very nice and mostly friendly. The room was well designed and spacious. There were some permanent and large stains on the carpet of our room that made it seem dated. Otherwise it was very clean. We appreciated use of the nice bathrobes and slippers. The housekeeping staff also did a great job with room freshening. "

"Exceptional hotel, welcoming and absolutely stunning! The room was fantastic and the welcome treats were an added touch. Would highly recommend if you're visiting Lisbon. It's situated in the perfect neighbourhood with easy walkable access to everything. The staff were top notch and the food was excellent.... stayed at three different hotels during our visit and this one was our favourite by far. This was 10/10 for me! Wished we stayed here for the entire duration of our trip. Love this...
