"The breakfast was very nice and the main dining hall was magnificent. The room itself could’ve been better. The textured wallpaper had dust clinging to it. It was concerning to find that the bed didn’t have a mattress protector under the sheet. The carpet was worn. The tiles in the bathroom were very municipal."

"No air-conditioning. (Just in case you need it.) A fan was supplied in the room and like the room could do with a good clean. Dresser glass top you could see the dust laying on top. "Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC"

"Very clean room and plenty of parking"

"Great new, clean hotel right next to Cambridge North station. Really nice breakfast, good sized room, really quiet and good temperature. Good pool, slightly small but good. Only negative was you have to pay for parking (£21 for our one night stay)"
