"We arrived at Holcombe House approx 3pm. Parking was difficult as it’s a first come first serve basis. We parked up the road but later I finally got a car park space outside the property.Roy welcomed us in and was a quite a gentleman.we stayed on the 2nd floor in a cosy room at the top of the house. We had nice views from the window.Bathroom was nice and the bath/shower was great. "Well portioned for easy access to all travel and walking. Stunning views of surrounding mountains. However the village seemed abit run down and dinning opportunities limited. We would suggest the Royal Sportsman hotel for dinning. As we have visited it before and the food and service was excellent. "

"Had a lovely stay at Groeslon Ty Mawr. It's a proper old-fashioned B&B that reminded me of childhood holidays. Mark and Ruth were very welcoming and kind and made me feel right at home. I stayed upstairs in the main building. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and cosy with a lovely view out over the valley. "Very comfortable hotel . My only concern was I was on the top floor and there was no lift. If I were to stay again I would request the lower floors. The owners were very friendly and the over all stay was comfortable. "
