Small and cosy

Las Mariopas is a small budget family run hotel. It is set back of a busy road but does not cause a problem. It has a good pool and garden area. Noise can be a issue if you have noisy neighbours. It is a good location if you don't want the noise and night life of Lloret town centre which is a 15 minute walk away. It is close to local supermarkets and shops.

Some good points, some bad points, great price

A rather mixed experience but can't complain for the price... Good points were friendly staff (family owned and run);reasonable temperature in apartment (other reviews say no a/c but it was 35C most days but the apartment was fine). The main bad point was that the walls are paper-thin; if you get a noisy neighbour than you might not get much sleep.

Aparthotel tranquilo, comodo y con hermoso jardin

Precioso el jardín y la piscina. Las habitaciones son comodas y con excelente iluminación. Algunas con vistas del jardin y las montañas de fondo. Lo peor es la limpieza, se realiza muy por encima y esto resta mucho a la hora de recomendarlo.

Wish we had more days there

Stayed for 5 days at the Bennington of June. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Gave us information about the local area and when we asked about a typical historic place to visit they suggested a stunning medieval town an hour away. The owner speaks many languages and is always happy to help. Francisco in the bar is such a carachter; our kids grew very fond of him. The apartment itself was specious with brand new bathroom and a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. The sofa bed transformed into two separate single beds which were very comfortable. The kitchen area has all we needed to cook our own meals, just needs updating but we were told that after doing new bathrooms this year, they will do kitchens up next year. The pool was super clean and open from 9am to 9pm. You can walk to the nearest beach which is about 10 minutes away otherwise there are many little coves to discover which are a few minutes drive then a short walk down hill. Couldn't fault the area or accommodation. It's a place with options and you can make it as fun/cheap/healthy/busy/quiet as you like. Nearby Llore De Mar isn't our thing but it was fun to see and it's certainly a place for fun for young people.

Nice stay for budget price

Apartment was basic but is what you expect for a budget price. It was clean and beds were comfortable, staff were very friendly and the pool and surroundings were great.

Une perle pour Lloret en famille

Certes un peu bruyant à cause des fêtards. Mais on sait à quoi s'attendre en se rendant à Lloret, donc globalement c'était très bien. Assez calme car excentré du coeur festif et situé dans une impasse. Accueil et gentillesse sans pareil, toujours plein de bons conseils (notamment pour trouver une plage, plus familiale). Chambre correct pour ce qu'on a a y faire. Piscine ouverte de 9h à 21h, propre et très agréable avec tables, parasols, transats et coin pelouse avec table de ping pong. Coin jeux relativement grand et sympatique, sans parler du cadre fleuri vraiment agreable a vivre. Le seul bémol serait l'absence de clim... Mais je garde vraiment un excellent souvenir.

NOT A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!!

Absolutely horrific! No air conditioning in the room. We asked for a fan to be told there isn't one despite an unused 1 sitting behind reception. We were kept awake ALL night every night of our stay by other guests partying loudly on balconies. Night staff did nothing to resolve this which resulted in my 2 children, myself and my partner unable to enjoy our holiday due to exhaustion! I would only recommend this hotel to people who don't want to sleep. We also had a shower which was snapped just to add to the dissatisfaction! #hotelfromhell

Heavily worn

The apartament we stayed in, was full of ants, even in bed and bathroom. Windows and bathroom doors were damaged, cleaning only once a week, so there was more and more ants in garbage every day. We were in several places during this trip, and everywhere towels were changed and garbage was thrown every day for similar price. Location is quite but very far to the center of Llorett, although it is close to most beautiful beach in this city.

Excellent compromis

L’hôtel est calme,propre ,un peu excentré il faut 15 mn de marche pour rejoindre la plage. Nous étions 4 dans un appart-hotel au rez-de chaussée avec une terrasse sympa. Le personnel est très très sympa et a l'écoute. Je conseille vivement cette adresse pour un séjour a LLoret. On y retournera c'est sur!!

AppartHotel familial au tarif imbattable (45€ la nuit pour une chambre de 3), mobilier un peu vieillot, mais chambre propre, pas bruyante... Piscine sympathique et bien tenue.
