"Our stay at Minnie’s was lovely. We had the room facing the loch and the view was amazing. She served a light breakfast with fresh coffee and tea in the morning with cereals and fresh fruit also available. Although a little out of the way from all the sightseeing, it made for fun traveling across the island on the crazy single lane roads. We ate at the Indian place next door as well as the pizza place across the street. Small adorable little village of Dunvegan"

"It was a clean room however the bathroom had issues with the toilet needs to be changed old too slow to fillup had plastic bottle in tank to help with filling tank !!!! Makes lots of noise No one around exceptin the morning for breakfast door entry very hard to unlok and lock Service of the room on demand staff in the morning very nice and helpfull"

"We arrived on the ferry by foot and were unable to secure transportation. We were told it was “only a mile and a half walk,” no mention that it was uphill the entire way. We ended up being able to catch a bus but had to wait 45 minutes at the ferry to get that bus. We arrived in the dark and were sent to that was up a poorly lit steep hill and then up a long flight of wet? Leaf covered concrete steps. It was clear what suitcases we had with us and our ages and we were not offered any assistance....

"I had an amazing stay at Hame Hotel on the Isle of Skye. All the staff were incredibly welcoming and well organized, making our stay very easy. The location is stunning and very central for exploring the island. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. They have a great common area with an honesty bar that is well stocked. The food was a highlight - we had all of our breakfasts and dinners at the hotel, and every meal was delicious with a great view of the mountains! I will most...

"No heating in the room. Staff brought additional bedding but radiator didn't work and the experience did not meet comfort expectations for the price. Towel rail did not heat up either. Other than sorry no offer was made to compensate for the inconvenience"

"Room was 3 floors up no elevator, carpet outside the bathroom was very wet, no toilet paper in the bathroom and birds nest outside the window was our 7 AM alarm clock each morning. Breakfast was not very good."

"Unique design, modern and clean, private, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, excellent view, all around great experience. Convenient location for Old Man of Storr and Quiraing. Our favorite of 5 places we stayed during our trip."

"The grounds were beautiful, the view from our room was sublime, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. We did a lot of moving hotels during our trip and I wish we had at least one more day here."

"Room was fine. We never tried the paid breakfast because simply they forgot to put the order in and we waited 45 min for it - eating away the early morning that we had plan to visit Skye - and nothing came. The main waiter tried to gaslight us that they did not forget us - they were “adding” special touches to it (to boiled eggs on an avocado toast?!?). Everyone that arrived at sining room after us ate and left. As we were leaving hungry, they offered to put the food that was just ready in to go...

"Le séjour etait super et les hôtes adorables ! Le logement correspond à la description et s'inscrit parfaitement le charme de l'île de Skye, je recommande vivement !"

"Perfect walking distance in to the main square of Portree"

"Amazing venue, and very much exceeded our expectations. Owners were amazing with their advice on things to see and best driving options. Breakfast was simply superb! Staying here was a highlight of our Scotland trip."

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. The setting is spectacular, the views are incredible, and the grounds are lovely. We really enjoyed taking the time to explore the property. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very well appointed. We especially appreciated the unlimited water, hot chocolate, tea, and Nespresso pods. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was wonderful, and having electrical outlets on every wall was surprisingly convenient. The food in the restaurant...

"Hotel tutto sommato confortevole, camera pulita e colazione un po' scarsa ma di ottima qualità. Camera un po' piccola, nel totale hotel raccomandato ma prezzi veramente troppo alti."

"Habitación limpia. Personal amable. Bar con personal divertido, y muy concurrido."

"Travelled with my family and this was an excellent choice, stayed at the private room and was surprised at the lack of noise from the outside, very good acoustics. Highly recommend and the private bathroom was a plus. Very close to several tourists destinations."

"Nicely updated, quiet and comfortable place. Highly recommend!"

"Die Unterkunft war zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Besonders der Seeblick hat uns gefallen. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Allerdings war das Bett etwas durchgelegen und die Unterkunft hellhörig. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hat für uns nicht zu 100% gepasst, was allerdings auch an den Zimmerpreisen auf der gesamten Insel liegen kann, der etwas höherpreisig ist"
