Khách sạn Lochgelly

"Just a one night stay while working in Kirkcaldy, had the superior single room. Due to the stormy weather I couldn’t keep the window open which made the room rather warm. Bed comfy enough, grout in the shower needs a good scrub (I am a cleaner and know what causes this!) and my carpet hadn’t been vacuumed. Other than that can’t complain for the price. Didn’t use any of the facilities so won’t comment. Would I stay here again, yes, if it was as cheap."

"Easy parking for onward travel to airport"

"We had a good stay at the hotel when storm Boelo came through. Had good drinks and meals too."

"It was ok for a 1 night stay. We didn't use any of the facilities. Not as close to the city centre as I had in my head but that was my own fault."

"Our room was good and clean with comfy beds, the breakfast was very good and set us up for a day at the darts. the onsite parking was good and convenient"

"The hotel is very clean and quiet. We tavelled and stayed during the storm and the hotel was a perfect oasis of calm and warm. We had everything we needed and were very comfortable. The Royal Highland Centre was less than 10 mins walk from the hotel. Note: if you travel by car, parking charge of £15 per 24 hrs will apply."

"It was a great place."

"Clean room. Very convenient to get to airport. Great breakfast"

"A lovely old house kept in great condition. Our room was warm and comfortable and spotlessly clean. A great breakfast set us up for the day. The proprietors were friendly and helpful."

"I left two shirts behind and was able to have them delivered to my home address with the very much appreciated help of a number of staff members. I was very happy to have the shirts returned and it was all down to the staff who helped. I’m forever grateful"

"We enjoyed our 2 night stay, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Considering the location in the city, we thought the rooms were quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed using the pool, sauna and steam room and would likely return again."

"Beautiful building and grounds. Wonderful staff!"

"Amazing and roomy rooms. Very clean. Quiet location."

"Amazing location!"

"Very central location. Helpful friendly staff. Rooms are very clean. None of the bathtub or sink drains work very well but it’s a minor inconvenience, we just removed the plug/cover thing entirely. Didn’t seem to be any functional fans for the bathrooms so nothing will dry but you can swap the towels any time. Overall decent hotel and I would stay again. Prices are pretty high even in off-season but that seems to be universal for Edinburgh/UK."
