"Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!"

"All the staff were pleasant and the manager was excellent. The breakfast was hit and the lady that Ean the breakfast kept the dining area clean. The fact is the hotel is getting older and needs some renovation. The elevator has floor b of arcs loose. The windows should be cleaned. Our room had some visible flaking if the paint and maybe from some water damage. Overall it was okay but I would not stay there again other than the staff certainly stood out"

"I did feel like safety was a big concern here and they did well with that. However I feel like they don’t trust the guests and maybe there’s reasons why. But I had to ask for ice and the desk guy had to get it. It was like a clump of chizzled ice that really did no good for me. There was absolutely nothing at the breakfast I could eat. On. Good note, the room was clean."

"Absolutely terrible, rude staff, dirty rooms and dirty property. Definitely avoid if you have children as I found a pile of needles in the grass outside, and not the sewing kind."

"Upon arriving the receptionist was very busy so it took us a bit to check in. Once checked in and in our room we immediately began noticing different cleanliness issues, dead bugs on the counters, a film coating on the shower, baseboards and flooring were stained from previous visitors. The fridge was also very dirty with old food stains and puddles from leaking items. Upon arrival we needed to pay an additional $50 deposit that was unexpected and were assured it would be refunded upon...

"We stayed one night with two toddlers, and it was functional. Not very clean, but not disgusting. The facilities definitely need to be updated and repaired, but the aesthetics of the room were not our priority. The bedding and towels have holes, and there are no blackout curtains."

"This property is not handicapped accessible, it smells so bad I instantly got a headache. We checked out 20 minutes after checking in due to the smell and other very poor reasons, hotel said we stayed for the entire stay and not wanting to give a refund. Locals also stated this location has had many issues involving law enforcement to be present. Do not recommend!!!!"

"Not the most comfortable beds and the lights barely worked. Shower was not the cleanest either. I guess for something cheap it'll do."

"The location was perfect. I needed a late checkout and they were very accommodating. We ate lunch at the restaurant and it was delicious. The menu had many tasty options, it was hard to decide. As usual, the cookie was perfect!"

"Not sure if they were short staffed but the check-in process was a mess. There were many people that sat and waited for rooms to be cleaned and available. Eventually, we were given a key to our second room only to find out that someone was already in there. Also, this is the first hotel we’ve stayed at for quite some time that didn’t offer complementary coffee in the lobby. On the positive side, it was a clean hotel with comfortable beds."

"Breakfast was very well done. The staff doing breakfast was very nice and knew peoples names which was very nice to hear. The room was clean. My coffee pot didnt work and they changed it out but that one didnt work either. They were helpful but after the 2nd coffee pot it was not worth the headache. It was a safe location and convenient for where I was going."
