"Our room was "picked up," not "clean." There was long hairs stuck to the bathroom walls and inside the shower from previous guests. Overall, the walls and table surfaces could use a good scrubbing, because there was dirt/food buildup and smudges throughout. In retrospect, I should have just spent the extra $20-$30 to stay at a nearby Super 8, Motel 6 or Best Western."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the SureStay Best Western in Lombard. The staff was wonderful—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit. The hotel was quiet, parking was easy, the area felt safe, and there were plenty of restaurants and amenities nearby. It’s also a convenient location for visiting downtown Chicago without the hassle of staying in the city. The complimentary breakfast looked and smelled great, although we did not try it. The bathroom was well-equipped with a roll-in shower and grab bars. My concern is with the ADA room itself. While the bathroom was accessible, the room was not. The layout was extremely cramped, and I had difficulty navigating it with my compact travel walker. A guest using a standard walker or wheelchair would have no access to the room, with the bathroom being the only fully accessible area. The bed was also quite high, making transfers more difficult than expected in an ADA room. The remote-controlled blinds broke on our first morning but were repaired promptly, which we appreciated. The in-room microwave did not work during our stay, although we did not report that issue to staff. While we enjoyed many aspects of the hotel and would stay here again, I would strongly encourage the hotel to reevaluate the accessibility of this room. The ADA designation does not accurately reflect the room’s usability for many guests with mobility challenges."
