It was a beautiful building and very lovely bar and restaurant, and the area where you could sit had lovely couches, the food was really good, the decor was cool, the staff were great, I loved this hotel, and I would stay again, 2 minutes from station and a 15 minute walk to Harrods.

For a Saturday night stay in London the price was very reasonable! Location is excellent for most sights and travel (Gloucester road tube just over the road). Supermarkets and shops nearby if needed. You may need a map to find your room-but that is part of the fun. Room was perfect for me. Will stay again.

The bed was very comfortable. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. But oh dear don’t buy drinks at the bar. I was charged £48 for 2 glasses of red wine. This was daylight robbery and a shocking way to treat residents. Pity because it spoiled an otherwise pleasant stay.

Breakfast was very good. Staff very polite. Sadly ran out of body wash on first shower. Very noisy throughout early hours of morning as door outside our room kept banging with people coming and going. Booked as a four adult room and was given just three cups and glasses.
