"On the first day I found the toilet seat was unsecured on one side. I immediately informed the desk clerk who said he was sending someone to fix it. No one came, even after I requested service the following days! I had NO ROOM SERVICE MY ENTIRE 6 DAY STAY!! Your site advertised a restaurant in the lobby. Upon check in the clerk stated it was closed; would possibly open the next day?? Never opened!! Overall very poor experience!"

"We always enjoy staying at the Garden City Hotel and have been returning twice a year—every summer and winter—for many years. The hotel itself is beautiful, but what truly makes our stay special is the incredible staff. Everyone is warm, professional, and welcoming. The housekeeping team does a wonderful job, and the valet staff are always friendly, helpful, and attentive. They consistently make us feel at home, and we truly appreciate their hard work.

"Solid little hotel and a great option for south Brooklyn (there aren't many). The staff is very nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding and towels were soft. These comforts go a long way when you're traveling and some high end hotels don't get that right. Easy to walk, train or rideshare to nearby Park Slope, Gowanus, downtown BK and into Manhattan.
