"Really nice staff, beautiful property on the beach. It feels like stepping into the not too distant past with antique furniture in the lobby and rooms. The building is older so it is worn but the setting makes it feel magical. It is very family oriented but there is a bar on the first floor as well."

"This was our favorite place we stayed during our week in Ireland and Northern Ireland. The grounds were beautiful overlooking a valley. Easy walk to the town center. John was such a great host and tended bar until we were finished. We loved our stay"

"The property is unique in that it’s a very old castle turned into a hotel. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the rooms have contemporary amenities while maintaining an historical ambiance. The lounge served excellent food for lunch and dinner, with an absolutely delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding that is sure to impress Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry!❤️❤️ The breakfast is excellent with ample buffet and à la carte selections. The staff is VERY courteous, considerate, and helpful! Excellent 11am historical tour. Beautiful grounds for walking/hiking. Highly recommend staying here!"
