"Probably the cleanest room I’ve stayed in.great view over the beach and sea front.The only negative would be the lighting in the en-suite it could have been brighter"

"The host greeted us upon arrival and based on remoteness and outside appearance were not expecting much. That’s when Buttons the ‘doodle’ four legged greeter came up and really welcomed us! WHAT A SWEETIE. Our rooms were perfect. Spacious, comfy and beautiful. Our host also provided breakfast supplies for us. Wish the nearby bar and restaurant were open but after a long day it didn’t matter much. A hidden gem!"
"I have travelled to many different places throughout the world but this hotel is as enjoyable an experience that we can remember of all of the places we have stayed. Whilst the hotel is quite impressive, the staff are the ones that made this quite memorable. The locals throughout the Mournes are the friendliest and most polite we have had the pleasure to meet.

"The Haslem is an excellent choice Hotel to stay if you are visiting this area or Belfast, the stay was wonderful, the included breakfast was fantastic, the proximity to the local train station to get Downtown Belfast was easy and walking distance away, I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. "Another great break at the briers. Ive stayed in the slieve donard, the avoca and the donard. The briers is easily my favourite. Beautiful surroundings, clean rooms, friendly and hospitable staff. Excellent value for money. Will definitely be back again before the end of the summer."
"A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! "
"This was one of the highlights of our 3 week stay in the UK. Gorgeous old house, massive room decorated beautifully, spotlessly clean and gorgeous grounds. John our host was lovely and cooked us delicious breakfasts. Also lovely surrounds with a donkey across the road who loved a pat, and some cats on the property who loved a cuddle. Highly recommend."
