"The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. And, the young lady that served us breakfast was very nice and helpful. I’d recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who is planning to spend time in...

"Beautiful hotel, some staff were great but bartender ignored me for a bit when I tried to get a drink. And then when he did take my drink order he took other orders and then had to run around and find their bottle of wine, etc while I waited some more for a simple drink. And yes I was there before them."

"The place has character and seems to be well taken care of. Breakfast is different and well prepared, but not that filling. Our biggest problem was not getting any hot water in the shower or the bathroom sink tap even after letting the water run for 20 minutes with the knob turned to the max on the right hand side (tried other settings too). And the bnb message about the access code did not arrive “within 48h of check-in” as given in the Expedia description, but just 5 hours before check-in,...

"You can't speak to hotel staff when you call the number on the site. The Expedia site & hotels records will not match. The hotel assured us someone would be there after 2am to check us in when we finally got ahold of someone to discuss late check-in with them. We arrived at 2:15-2:30am & walked in to a homeless gentleman sleeping on the luggage racks smelling of weed and could not get in the door or get anyone on the phone. After several minutes in a terrible situation with our kids we finally...

We were there during a busy time and they took security of hotels guests seriously and kept traffic within the hotel very monitored. The customer service was above and beyond. "Sheets are very thin. Not a real comforter. Small pillows. Parking is awful, and if you stay, utilize the valet. Hotel was very clean, and was nice, but the ice machine will wake you up if your room is near it. There are plenty of things to do at the hotel. It would possibly be nice for a business trip, but not for a romantic weekend away when you have a car."

"Well located B&B in old Louisville. Rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast each morning was a culinary treat! Truly delicious food. Annette, our Innkeeper, was absolutely delightful. She was helpful and informative. The carpet in 3rd floor bedrooms are overdue for replacement. But it is a charming property. We also had James working at the inn during our stay, and he was very helpful as well. Staff that we interacted with were outstanding."
